微軟在1993年開啟了MVP計畫，至今全球已經擁有超過5,000位以上的微軟最有價值專家，分散在世界各地，中國大陸及印度約有250位，台灣也有超過106位的MVP，可見得美國微軟也相當重視台灣的市場，而亞州區開啟MVP計畫則是從2002年2月26日開始，當然也包含了台灣。
台灣第一屆MVP於2002年2月26開放報名，筆者於2003年4月當選第2-2屆Microsoft MVP，2003年起至2008年期間，連續六年連任：
台灣微軟技術支援部(PSS)社群技術支援第二屆「最有價值專家」(MVP)第二回合選拔活動名單揭曉
當選2003年4月至2004年3月MVP，技術專長：Windows - Shell / User
連任2004年4月至2008年3月MVP，技術專長：Windows Server - Networking

2008年3月後開始至今，休息了三年的時間，於2011年7月，由台灣微軟MVP專案經理張嘉容小姐邀請回鍋參選，於是就再次丟下了Microsoft MVP報名表，此次報名參選的技術專長項目為：Windows Expert IT Pro。
經過了三個月台灣及美國的篩選審核後，於2011年10月1日收到通知，當選本年度Microsoft MVP For Windows Expert IT Pro
